a.		Hoping to take charge of their film careers, the Marxes financed this movie themselves, under the heading of Loma Vista Films. They even did a brief pre-filming tour of scenes from the movie, as they had done with A Night at the Opera and A Day at the Races, hoping to sharpen the scripts comedy.
b.		"Its Fun to Be in Love" (music by Nicholas Brodszky, lyrics by Sammy Cahn), performed by Dan Dailey, Betty Lynn and George Chakiris was cut from the film. The soundtrack recording was finally issued on the last "Thats Entertainment!" CD set.
