a.		This was the first Walt Disney film released to theaters that was animated, not by the Disney "Feature Animation" division, but by the "Television Animation" division. This explains the notable difference in quality between this film and other Disney animated releases around the same time (e.g. The Little Mermaid, The Rescuers Down Under, and Beauty and the Beast). The TV Animation division has since produced several other theatrical releases, such as A Goofy Movie and Return to Never Land (with striking improvements in animation quality), as well as numerous direct-to-video sequels for Disney features.
