a.		Originally there was going to be a massive army of Insecticons (a Transformers faction of insectoid Decepticons) that would merge to form the Swarm, (taken from the 1980s "Transformer" comics). This was changed as it would have been too expensive, and not as spectacular as Devastator appearing; in the end, only one Insecticon appears, seen tracking down Sam and Mikaela in Operation Firestorm. The concept was not scrapped though but evolved into the Microcons-Reedman sequence.
