a.		A fifth Batman film was planned, called "Batman: Triumphant". The film would have had the Scarecrow, Harley Quinn and Man-Bat as the main villains. The film was much darker, with Batgirl being murdered by Man-Bat in the first fifteen pages of the script and Batman would be haunted by visions of the Joker while hallucinating from Scarecrows fear gas. Jack Nicholson was approached to reprise his role of the Joker, which he had reportedly been trying to do for years, while a new actor was considered to replace George Clooney when he said he wouldnt reprise the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The plans for "Batman: Triumphant" were scrapped, and Protosevich says his script is still kept in the Warner Bros. vault and has not been seen since.
