a.		Bruce Wilkinson (the writer) first met Director Martin Guigui in Austin, Texas at the Austin Film Featival back in 2005 at a screening of Guiguis Swing. Little did they know they would find themselves filming "Beneath The Darkness" 5 years later right in the Austin area.
b.		In the 1960s Walt Disney remade "Swiss Family Robinson", The Disney Studios bought up the rights to the 1940 version produced and distributed by RKO, then Walt Disney confiscated all known prints of RKO Radio Pictures version so there wouldnt be comparisons to the Disney remake.

By an amazing coincidence, it was the authors own book Hopkins had chanced upon.
