a.		All of Kyle Wygants scenes needed to be filmed first and quickly due to the fact that he enlisted in the U.S. Navy several months prior and was due to ship out by May of 2009. This explains his shaved head towards the end of the film which was worked into the story thanks to the lice reference.
b.		Michael York, Jonathan Miller, Omar Sharif and Kabir Bedi were in the running for playing the role of the chief villain Norman Saint Sauvage which was in the end played by Vittorio Gassman.
