a.		All of the exteriors for the movie were shot in a small south Louisiana town called Abbeville. Abbeville is laid out almost exactly the same as Arbeville, Colorado, where the movie takes place. Abbeville was used because filming took place in late 1987 and Arbeville was covered in snow. Its just a weird coincedence that the names are so similar.
b.		The part of Nurse Sally Keating was originally intended to be played by Mary Astor. When Astor refused to play the role, Warner Bros. signed Broadway actress Kay Linaker to play Keating, and as punishment, the studio forced Astor to play a supporting part in the film.
c.		The attire of Sex Bob-omb during their performance at the Chaos Theatre matches what they wear near the end of Scott Pilgrim and the Infinite Sadness. Young Neil dons the suit and tie that is originally worn by Scott in the book.
d.		Magnetos line "When will these people learn how to fly?" is a reference to the fact that some of the characters (Jean Grey and also Rogue, who gets the ability from permanently absorbing Ms. Marvels powers in the comics) have the ability to fly in the comics but havent yet in the films. The only characters with the power of flight in the comics that have shown this ability in the movies are Magneto and Storm (although Storm was manipulating wind currents to levitate herself, and Magneto was only able to levitate by standing on metal - presumably he wears shoes with metal sole-plates to do this in other occasions).
