a.		The exteriors of the museum scene were shot in New York. The interiors however, were shot in the Philadelphia Museum of Art (note the griffin logo on the map Angie Dickinson checks, its their logo). The large gorilla painting that she views (called Reclining Nude) now resides in the office of the wholesale and retail operations manager of the museum.
b.		Due to Rodney Dangerfields contractual obligations with the Miller Brewing Company and his appearances in Miller Lite beer commercials at the time, only Miller beer was allowed to be shown in certain scenes (when Dangerfield goes to get a beer out of the refrigerator during the party at his house and during the large party at the college when the police arrive with extra beer).
c.		For some non-American releases, references to Taco Bell were changed to Pizza Hut. This includes dubbing, plus changing the logos during post-production. Taco Bell remains in the closing credits. In the Swedish release the subtitles still use Taco Bell while the sound and picture has been altered as above.
d.		Lev Zhurbin composed a musical theme for each of the main characters prior to production. During casting, a sample of the music was sent to each actor along with the script.
