There were two surplus Apollo lunar modules on display, LM-2 (on display at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.), and LM-9 (originally earmarked for Apollo 15s original designation as an "H" mission (short duration stays on the Moon with 2 LEVAs (moonwalks). LM-13 was partially completed; at the time of filming, LM-13 was still in pieces until HBOs From the Earth to the Moon was filmed (LM-13 was completed and used as a film prop).
