a.		Second Death Wish movie that was made during the 1980s. The others were Death Wish II and Death Wish 4: The Crackdown.
b.		The motorcycles used by the "death squad" cops through most of the movie are Moto Guzzi Eldorado police bikes. However, Triumph 500cc T100 Tiger motorcycles were used during the scenes on the aircraft carrier at the end. These would have been favoured by the stunt riders as they are lighter and easier to handle than the Moto Guzzis.
c.		The idea for this film came from an Off Broadway play Dan Fogler was starring in and Thomas Sullivan was producing. When Fogler was cast as a young Hitchcock in Number Thirteen, he used the opportunity as character study to experience directing a feature horror film.
