b.		The film was originally going to be released on double feature with Ray Dennis Stecklers The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies (1963), however Steckler withdrew his film because he felt The Sadist was receiving preferential treatment on the double bill. Arch Hall Jr. would later say he felt it was a poor pairing for a double feature anyway.
