a.		A copy (nitrate projection print) of the film was found in a somewhat compromised state in South Africa. It was repatriated through the American Film Institute to the Library of Congress. Heavy scratches on the print were minimized in the 2003 preservation on the film.
b.		It rained very little during the "rain days" in rainy Vancouver, and so up to six water trucks were used to make "rain" and wet down streets. That was just for two nights making it rain along three whole city blocks downtown.
