a.		Jeffrey Katzenberg often gave notes that he wanted more edge. Pixar presented an early draft of the film to Disney on November 19, 1993. The result was disastrous. The film was deemed unwatchable and John Lasseter recalls simply hanging his head in shame. It presented Woody as a "sarcastic jerk" who was constantly insulting the other toys. Katzenberg took Walt Disney Feature Animation president Peter Schneider in the hall after the screening and asked him why it was bad, Schneider responded that it wasnt theirs anymore. Disney immediately shut down production pending a new script. The story team spent a week on a new script to make Woody a more likable character, instead of the "sarcastic jerk" he had been.
b.		Explode was shot in seven days. Since it was shot using only available light, no day was more than 10 hours long, and five of the days were under eight hours. There are 24 speaking parts in the film. Most of the actors shot all their work in four hours or less, with the exception of Noel Olken (all seven days) Circus-Szalewski (worked on three days) and Joe Estevez, who shot all his scenes in only one, ten hour day.
c.		In the original draft of the script, Barbossa was Italian not English.

In the final scene when Sarah is crying and hugging Johnny, we hear her stop crying for a few seconds to tell Johnny that she loves him, but since her mouth is obscured we dont actually see her say it. The original script did not have her saying this. Her voice was dubbed in later in order to have some closure for Johnny.
