a.		This movie was the first and only time that former American President and actor Ronald Reagan and wife Nancy Davis (aka Nancy Reagan) star-teamed and made a movie together. The couple however did appear frequently together in television episodes of General Electric Theater. Technically speaking though, in this movie, Reagan actually received top billing and Nancy second-billing. As the couple have become more famous through time, the perception of their billing has been equalized due to their presidential married status.
b.		In one scene, Rocky mistakenly identifies "Little" Maries son and comments that he has her "big Irish hair". Even though Rocky is wrong about which boy the son is, actress Geraldine Hughes is, coincidentally, from Ireland.
c.		The cause of the dead returning to life is not completely explained in the film. On the back of the DVD box, it is said to be a virus.
d.		In the end credits there is a special thanks to Harvey Keitel. He was not involved in the movie as such, but he made a very important phone call to Tim Roth. Roth had been offered a big and well paid part in a big budget film immediately before this low budget independent film was to begin shooting. Harvey Keitel made a phone call to Roth, giving him the following advice "Dont take the money. Take the film you really want to make". So Roth stayed with this project.

a.		The maze was constructed on an airfield near Elstree studios, by weaving branches to chicken wire mounted on empty plywood boxes. The maze was shot using an extremely long lens (a 9.8mm, which gives a horizontal viewing angle of 90 degrees) which was kept dead level at all times, to make the hedges seem much bigger and more imposing than they were in reality.
b.		In the scene when Peter Fonda arrives on his motorcycle and asks Tim Roth if the phone works, Bridget Fonda is actually hiding in the back seat of the car Roth is in. If you look very closely, for a second you see a small blue patch behind the seat for a second as Roth is sitting up. The same color of the t-shirt Bridget wore in the Arizona scenes. In the audio commentary on the DVD, director Michael Steinberg explains, "Bridget wanted to be in a shot with her father. Of course you cant see her at all. Shes ducked down behind in the back seat, but I guess it was not since Easy Rider that theyd been in a film together."
c.		This film is an exaggerated version of what really happened between Joe Gariffo and Shaun Paul Costello.
d.		A live action version of The Flintstones had been in development for a number of years. Reportedly, this version would not have been made if John Goodman had turned down the role of Fred.
