a.		Made in 1982, this was one of the very first Direct to Video films purchased by Sony Home Video and released to the then brand new Video Rental Markets. To this day, this film is unavailable on DVD or sell through VHS and it grossed for Sony, in the rental markets alone world wide - over $22 million dollars. They bought it for $50,000 from the Texas film makers.

c.		The film is loaded with multiple bible references. For example, one of the main characters is Jason Castle who is loosely based on Jesus. He is ultimately brought down by a battle with Ponch - a reference to Pontius Pilate. When Jason is hit by a motorist, it is a reference to Jesus falling with the cross. Also noteworthy in that scene, he is helped by a homeless man named Simon. At the end of the scene, another homeless woman named Veronica wipes Jasons face. Later in the film, Jason meets an athletic man named Sam. This is a reference to Samson, a man that could not resist the temptations of the Devil.
d.		The pistols carried by Johnny Mack Brown were the actual pistols that belonged to the real Billy the Kid. They were loaned to the studio for the picture by William S. Hart, who had them in his private collection.
