a.		Contrary to popular belief, this is not the first Bond film to feature Felix Leiter as an African-American - Bernie Casey portrayed him in the unofficial Bond movie Never Say Never Again. It is, however, the first EON production to use this arrangement.

One day during shooting when the "Mexican Forces" (reenactors from across the USA) were forming in the field, a B-52 from the nearby USAF base in San Antonio "buzzed the deck" to have a look at the movie being made. What the B-52 crew thought of hundreds of "Soldados" happily waving, no one has ever found out.
c.		At the same time this movie was shooting the hospital scene on the ramps at Columbia University, Comedy Central was filming Porn n Chicken right outside. In fact, the graduation set for Porn n Chicken is in the distance outside the glass wall. Kurt Fuller appears in both films.
d.		The idea for these creatures was born in a loft in Manhattans garment district that was home to NYU Film School graduate screenwriter Chris Columbus. "By day, it was pleasant enough, but at night, what sounded like a platoon of mice would come out and to hear them skittering around in the blackness was really creepy." Columbus recalls.
