d.		Lightning McQueens original number was to be 57, director John Lasseters birth year. It was later changed to 95 to represent the year that Toy Story was released. The car in the final film who has the number 57 (who wins the race in the first teaser) vaguely resembles McQueen, and is probably an earlier production design for that character.

Alfred Hitchcocks films have become famous for a number of elements and iconography: vertigoginous heights, innocent men wrongfully accused, blonde bombshells dressed in white, voyeurism, long non-dialogue sequences etc. In this his final film, one last iconographic element was added to the canon: the woman in black.
